Today, IN PART 1... I am decluttering and organizing the dreaded GARAGE space in order to be better prepared to MOVE soon! There is nothing better than having your home (and garage) clean, organized and staged to LOAD the moving truck without first needing to throw away trash, make those last minute donations, and wear yourself out with decision fatigue when you're ultimately just ready to ENJOY YOUR NEW HOME!!
This area has been a source of stress for me as we had been so diligent to keep the garage clean over the last year and recently things had begun to pile up and collect more clutter as a quick drop zone in order to keep the inside of the house and back patio CONSTANTLY ready for real estate showings.
My hope is that you'll be inspired to tackle an UNsexy project that ultimately serves you and your family and TRULY gets you in a place of mental freedom. We are not going for perfect, just functional, clean, and organized! It IS a garage, after all. So grab yourself a drink, put on your most comfy cleaning clothes, and let's get into this neglected area and make ourselves PROUD to say "ALL DONE!"
