Documentary series going behind the scenes of Virgin Atlantic Airways during its turbulent thirtieth year in business. With full and exclusive access, the series follows staff at all different levels of the business - from world-famous head honcho Richard Branson to the most recent cabin crew recruits, and from the company's chief executive to the boys in the warehouse - as the company rolls out a new plane, new uniforms and tries to get back in the black. In the opening episode, the team at the Virgin Atlantic base in Crawley prepare for the airline's thirtieth birthday event. Excitement is in the air as Richard Branson prepares to make a rare appearance. Elsewhere, after a two-year recruitment freeze, Virgin is finally hiring cabin crew again. The modest starting salary does not seem to deter applicants, as over 2,000 people apply for a job in just 48 hours.
