First off I'm just some middle aged dude who loves bombing my emtb hard on the Az trails. I don't get paid for this and basically my review is to help others that are just trying to rip and stay out of the ER!! With that being said these tires are truly a game changer in my opinion. I have 3250 miles on this bike and primarily ran Schwalbe Eddy Currents front and rear and I was always a little cautious of the corners at any psi. I like to stroke my ego a little so I'll say it, I'm mid pack consistently on Strava on the bike segments locally and my bike is still factory locked unlike the others. I push as hard as I can but I'm not great but good enough to notice when something works well and boy these DO. Cornering confidence is next level with these tires. I aired up 2psi front and rear on these compared to my old tires and it felt completely more planted with plenty of traction and never a case where I was concerned about banging a rim. My only complaint is the dang size of these. I'm not sure why Schwalbe consistently under sizes their stated tire size. My moto background has me searching for a wide front tire and this one sure isn't it. it measures out at a measley 2.41 at the widest point at 20ish psi. I will say the confidence I now have in corners may show to compensate for that wider tire I was hoping for but only time will tell. I'm certain I'll be burning through these at a rapid rate and at $108 a tire that's a cheap price to pay for traction in excess. Hope my review helps the real world people out there. Enjoy the ride.
