Deliveries start in March 2025. Tesla is aiming to ramp-up the production of the new Model Y in three different giga factories, on three continents.

Redesigned Exterior: Improved aerodynamics for better range, performance, and longevity.
New Lighting: Includes a front light bar and redesigned LED taillights for a more futuristic look.
New Wheels, Tires, and Brakes: Enhanced for efficiency and aesthetics.
Retuned Suspension: For a smoother and quieter ride.
New Paint Color: Glacier Blue is now an option, adding to the aesthetic appeal.
Adaptive Headlights: Available in European markets for enhanced safety.
Refined Cabin: Includes ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and an all-new interior design similar to the updated Model 3.
Increased Comfort: Power folding second-row seats, with the rear seats now including electrical reclining and folding.
New Screens:
A 15.4-inch central touchscreen for the front.
An 8-inch touchscreen for rear passengers to manage climate controls, play games, and stream media.
Improved Sound System: An upgraded 16-speaker system with enhanced noise cancellation thanks to double-layer acoustic glass.
Steering Wheel: New design with customizable buttons; the turn signal now uses a traditional stalk, but other functions like gear selection are managed via the touchscreen.
Connectivity: Faster Wi-Fi, improved Bluetooth connectivity, and enhanced voice control.
Increased Range: The Long Range AWD variant now offers an estimated EPA range of up to 350 miles, with the Chinese version claiming up to 447 miles on the CLTC cycle.
Charging: Maintains Tesla's high-speed Supercharger compatibility, with rates up to 250 kW for the Launch Series.
Performance: Acceleration and handling have been improved, with the standard range model reaching 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds and the long-range model in 4.3 seconds.
Enhanced Autopilot: Comes standard with features like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist.
Full Self-Driving (FSD) Capability: Included in the Launch Series, offering advanced driver assistance features, although full autonomous driving is not yet realized.
Launch Series: Available with exclusive features like acceleration boost, unique badging, and premium interior materials at a starting price of $59,990 for the Long Range AWD in the U.S.
Estonia currently holds the record for the lowest price of the new Model Y: €51,990. In most other European countries though, the new Model Y costs around €61,990.
