The Tesla Model Y is getting its long awaited refresh after 5 years in production. Internally dubbed the "Juniper," this new Model Y has a redesigned front and rear fascia, more range, a lower drag co-efficient and a brand new interior with nicer materials and improved build quality. The front end has been inspired by the Tesla Cybercab, and the interior is very similar to the Model 3 Highland. However, the new Model Ys get a new fabric trim on the doors for a more upscale feel, and their own turn signal stalks. Lastly, the Juniper is only available as a Launch Series model for the time being. It is a limited release, and it includes Full Self Driving and some badges around the car, making it more expensive but readily available for those who can’t wait.
