This video is a recording of a lecture program given by artist Andrew Denman at a private event at Sanders Galleries, Tucson, AZ, February 27th, 2025. Denman introduces two new bodies of work, Mid-Century Midnight (a series of nocturns inspired by the architecture of the artist's historic neighborhood) and Mixed Media Studies (larger and more developed versions of the quick studies the artist began creating during the Covid 19 Quarantine). Andrew speaks frankly about the inspiration behind these series.
