Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah SWT who has given us health and opportunity, so that we can share videos of our activities to friends, hopefully this video can be useful and inspire goodness.

In this video, I am in the garden cleaning weeds in the sweet potato garden with my family.

While they were doing their activities, I prepared food for lunch, while Akhdan and his uncle were busy exploring the soil, playing.

Bringing supplies of rice, spices and simple cooking tools in the garden, cleaning rice in the spring water in the garden, even though it's simple, this atmosphere makes the heart happy 🥰

Making Sundanese liwet rice, and looking for wild vegetables in the rice fields, namely genjer, this genjer is considered a weed by the rice field owners, they are happy if someone takes genjer in the rice fields, of course you have to be careful not to damage the rice plants. 🤭

The young genjer that I got with my mother-in-law was very suitable for stir-frying, it tasted delicious and fresh..

After being tired from activities in the garden, at noon we ate liwet rice, on top of which I put salted fish to be stir-fried until cooked, the distinctive aroma of Sundanese food aroused the appetite, stir-fried genjer, fresh impromptu chili sauce and fresh petai..

It just so happens that it's petai season in our place now, so many farmers are selling petai at a low price ☺️

Masyaallah it's incredibly delicious, for this simple lunch menu, togetherness makes the food even more delicious..

Liwet rice recipe:
. 1 liter of rice
. 1 lemongrass
. 3 bay leaves
. 3 shallots
. Salt to taste
. Mushroom broth to taste
. 1 tbsp cooking oil

Complementary: salted fish

Immediate sambal recipe:
. Cayenne pepper to taste
. 1 tomato
. 2 shallots
. Sugar and salt to taste
. Mushroom broth (if desired)

Genjer stir-fried recipe:
. Genjer to taste
. 3 shallots
. 2 cloves of garlic
. 1 tbsp shrimp paste
. 1 tomato
. 2 curly chilies
. According to taste, cayenne pepper
. According to taste, sugar, salt, mushroom broth
. A little water
