While most people are sobering up on new Year's Day, here at the Mill Brook Railroad, we go out and work on the track, weather permitting. For the last few years, the weather has cooperated quite nicely. A winter thaw can be the perfect tine to resurface a section of track, replace ties, install tie plates, or install gauge rods. Today, we're doing it all.
