Original ESPN Sunday Night Baseball Broadcast with Jon Miller and Joe Morgan Interleague play 1999 from Baltimore's Camden Yards recorded and Digitalized off the original recorded VHS tape which was converted to DVD through a DVD burner (2002) and has been recently restored and making its debut on my Phenia Films MLB archival page.
Rickey Henderson hits another lead off Homerun 81 in his career (to lead the MLB all time) hitting his 7th of the 1999 season off Orioles starter Juan Guzman as the Mets take the early 2-0 lead for Mets starter Masato Yoshii who gives up a run in the bottom of the 1st on a Mike Piazza error and a BJ Surhoff sac fly RBI. Yoshii keep the Orioles scoreless for the next 5 innings on 4 hits. Juan Guzman has troubles in the 5th inning on a couple RBI singles from Mike Piazza and Robin Ventura. Orioles manager Ray Miller takes Guzman out, bringing in Ricky Bones to start the sixth.
Mets take the 8-1 The Orioles come back with 4 runs and knocking Yoshii out of the game loading up the bases in the 7th inning and Valentine bring in left hander Rigo Beltran, then Turk Wendell and Dennis Cook to stop the bleeding in the 7th but it wasn't easy.
Orioles score again in the 8th as Valentine brings in closer Armando Benitez in to pitch the 9th walks his first batter but then sets the Orioles down 1-2-3 and earns his 7th save of the season.
Masato Yoshii picks up his 7th win for the Mets (7-7) while Juan Guzman gets his 8th loss of the season (4-8)
