visited new york for the first time on a birthday trip with my dad! definitely wasn't there long enough considering the first day was so rainy ;; but a few days was better than nothing i feel like i got to see so much within the short time.
then it was off to dc to spend some more time with my family. i haven't been back on the east coast in a minute, so it was nice to revisit. i always think how revisiting a place at different ages is like experiencing it for the first time again. especially areas you grew up and return to as an adult. it's nostalgic, yet new.
