The mainstream end of the small SUV market is so competitive that's it's really hard to stand out from the crowd, especially for a well-established player like the 2025 Nissan Qashqai. Good thing, then, that the new model year represents the midlife facelift of the third-generation series, one which ushers in a bold new look that's sure to turn plenty of heads.
All you need to do is take one look at the Qashqai's redesigned front fascia to realise that it means business, but there's more to the changes than just that, as Nissan has also overhauled the variant line-up, with the headline act being the new N-Design e-Power, a sporty-looking series hybrid that aims to provide an fully electric driving experience without needing to plug in to charge the battery. Yes, an internal-combustion engine exclusively acts as a generator instead.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Byron Mathioudakis finds out how well the Qashqai range measures up in 2025.
