Scott Pelloux [VDS London]
Scott has been devotedly collecting music in all its forms since the mid-90s with an inherently eclectic approach to music digging, curious about sounds of all shapes and origins.
With more than a decade at audiophile party Beauty and the Beat and resident at Brilliant Corners and Giant Steps sound system, Scott has been running the London branch of Tokyo based record store VDS since opening in 2020, specialising in Japanese imports and carefully curated private collections from around the world.
1990年代の音楽に魅せられてから、ジャンルや国境を超えて独自の視点でディグを続けてきた。音の形やルーツに対する尽きることのない好奇心が、彼の探求を支えている。
オーディオファイル・パーティー**「Beauty and the Beat」に10年以上携わり、Brilliant CornersやGiant Steps**のサウンドシステムでレジデントを務めるなど、ロンドンの音楽シーンで確かな存在感を示してきた。
2020年には、東京発のレコードショップ「VDS」のロンドン支店をオープン。日本からの輸入盤や、世界中から厳選したプライベート・コレクションを扱いながら、選び抜かれた音楽の魅力を発信し続けている。
