VAN TOUR August 2024
Turned my 2000 Dodge Ram van 1500 (160k miles) into a camper van.
Really didn't want to tear it apart, as it is well insulated already, came with shades, and is comfortable as heck. ONLY removed the two back captain seats. Kept the couch/bed.
ONLY added two pieces of furniture to help organize. My original build with the plastic shelves wasn't very functional, and would topple. Yes, I could have tied them down, but I didn't want to ugly things up. I also didn't have anywhere to cook inside without cluttering my floor, and creating a fire hazard.
Did you like the BEFORE or do you like the AFTER van build better?
