Former President Donald Trump claimed without any proof on Thursday that the tragic midair crash involving two planes in Washington was due to the Federal Aviation Administration's push to recruit a more varied workforce.
Trump made this allegation during a White House press briefing aimed at informing the public about the Wednesday night incident, where a commercial jet preparing to land at Reagan National Airport collided with an Army helicopter engaged in a training mission.
