Like any relationship, it's no different with bikes. But in a way it is different because we don't have to stay committed to a certain brand, shop, or style. We can keep trying things and see what works and what doesn't work for us. Which is why I decided to end my relationship with High-pivot mountain bikes. Atleast for now, that doesn't mean I won't keep trying them and reveiwing them. But I finally came to the realization that they aren't my preferred style of mountain bike for a few different reasons.
Have you ever had your eye on that dream bike that you just had to have only to find out after extensive testing it wasn't for you? This video is about that struggle of just not being able to jive with a dream bike I built up, that initially blew me away when I first got it. But over time those small little things that really bothered me, well, I just couldn't get over them or ignore them anymore. In this video I go over those little things, and why I'm moving away from a high-pivot bike as my main ride...
