In this video I use one yardstick and 3 kinds of mesh to make my version of the American flag pattern.
You will need 1 yardstick cut at the 15 inch mark (for cross bar) which will leave you a remainder of 20 and a half inches for the middle or spine of the cross. I painted my yardstick with white paint from Walmart
My mesh is cut to 10 inch pieces
I used #18 blue petals/ #15 red petals/ #21 white petals
