On Saturday February 15th 2025, the Railway Touring Company ran a charter from Kings Cross to York, and return. Stanier 'Black 5' No. 45212, which finished her BR career at Lostock Hall (10D) on the final day of normal BR steam, August 4th 1968 worked the train between Kings Cross to York northbound, and as far as Peterborough southbound. She was then unhooked from the train, and ran light to the Nene Valley Railway for servicing, before running light to Carnforth the following day. 47 746 'Chris Fudge' had run light to Peterborough earlier, and was stabled there most of the day. A short while before 45212 arrived, 47 746 ran light south to Connington Loop, to keep the station clear for the Black 5, and other service trains. She would return from Connington Loop once 45212 had left her train, before working the charter onwards to Kings Cross. 47 848 was on the rear of the train. Shewn on this clip are the evening movements of 47 746, 45212, and the departure south (with 47 848 on the rear).
