Feb 19th - after a double snowstorm weekend Montreal is still digging out. I left home at 5am to check out Baie D'Urfe station. It turned out to be on e of the best spots ever, with both the CP/Exo and CN/Via lines in close proximity.
Spent several hours there from pre-dawn to mid-morning and caught 5 mega freight trains all at full speed whipping up the snow and the cold air.
Temperature minus 16 but with the windchill felt more like minus 30. Was bundled up for the arctic, but still!
