Tune into another episode, where I took on the famous Noosa World Champs route with @CamNicholls I was seriously underprepared for this ride, and learnt to always know the route, or if you don't then just suck a wheel. There was big surges, sharp pinches that hit hard, and a pace that separates the strong from the struggling. The entire ride was full gas, with constant accelerations and power spikes that had me on the limiter. The Noosa World Champs isn't your typical group ride - it's earned its reputation as one of the most challenging weekly rides around, and today it showed me exactly why. It definitely humbled this weekend warrior who loves a flat chop ride. Despite my best efforts (and maybe some overambitious turns at the front), the inevitable happened - I lost the wheel. But getting dropped on a ride like this is a badge of honour and a learning experience rolled into one. Shoutout to @CamNicholls for showing what it takes to handle this iconic route and taking some footage for me along the way! If you want to see what happens when the Noosa World Champs route humbles another cyclist, hit play. Hope you enjoy the chop!
