Normally I would say never feed your worms like this... but berry season 🍓

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Under normal circumstances, I would never suggest: feeding fresh, not frozen food scraps feeding more when the last feeding was still being consumed feeding so much when past feedings weren't this large But here we are. We are in full berry season mode and I just know the worms love the sugar from them, and it just seemed like such a waste to not give them to the worms and toss them in the compost tumbler. So we're taking the risk. I feel a little more confident knowing this will be at least OK, probably not disastrous because: We're using the urban worm bag- and that's sealed and mostly contained We're in the basement, so we have spiders to help with pest management if we needed to and it's cooler, so we won't get a terrible smell. We've layered lots of paper on top to help bury the food. We're going to wait at least a month to let them fully have time to dive in and do what composting worms do best- compost! Fingers crossed! 💡 I now have my own collection of Garden and House Flags and Outdoor UV/Water Resistant Pillows designed by me! https://mymindinai.etsy.com 🪱Worms at Work Flags (2 Sizes)🔶 https://mymindinai.etsy.com/listing/1504762680/vermicompost-garden-flag-gift-for-worm 🛍️Vermicomposting Dry Goods Storage Bags (2 Sizes) https://mymindinai.etsy.com/listing/1612870451/compost-tool-gift-for-garden-lover 👩‍🌾 Want to see more garden updates?
