The North Carolina Tar Heels advanced to their 29th ACC Championship final in women’s soccer with a 2-1 victory over the Duke Blue Devils. After Duke got on the board in the first half, Carolina got the equalizer from Linda Ullmark’s outside-the-box strike. Then, it was Trinity Armstrong who found the game-winning goal in the 81st minute to both set up a 2022 championship rematch with Florida State, and to hand rival Duke its first defeat since August 15.
