Eventually the weather has turned, the sun is shining, the water is clear and the winds are light. That means it's time to grab the heavy ground gear and a load of fresh crab and head up to some stunning scenic fishing venues in Northumberland in search of 'kelpies'.
The choice of venue today was Newton by the Sea, a stunning little village nestled between Beadnell to the north and Craster to the south. Conditions are perfect and the scene is set!
