I took a chance and experimented with ordering books listed in Very Fine condition from Mile High Comics instead of focusing only on Near Mint books. It was interesting to see how they grade VF from NM and what defects, like color-breaking tics, heavy creasing, stains, discoloration, etc., they allow for a comic book in Very Fine condition.
