I walk from Lower Manhattan, starting at Canal and Lafayette, to SoHo (South of Houston Street). I stay on Lafayette Street, so it's a straightforward walk from Chinatown to SoHo. For a Saturday afternoon, I expected way more people than I saw walking on Lafayette Street. To be fair, most folks were probably walking east/west on Prince or Spring Street, or the other swanky streets with the luxury brands/high-end outdoor brands. I usually walk north on Mulberry Street to get to SoHo (that'll be a future recorded walk😄) because there are a couple of pizza places I like that are either on or near Mulberry and Prince. If anyone is curious: 1. Rubirosa - I find it hard to get a reservation here, so I usually go when the restaurant opens!! (I think it opens at 11:00 a.m., but definitely check before you go.) I sometimes have to wait, but I get seated within 20 minutes after putting my name on the wait list. Since I get here early, I can walk around and window-shop to walk off the pizza and pasta🤣 2. Prince Street Pizza - I used to get the pepperoni pizza. (I haven't been here in a while, but from what I can remember it was tasty. ) Date recorded: Saturday, August 26, 2023 Time recorded: 13:15 | 1:15 p.m. Temperature: 84F| 28C-29C Weather: Partly sunny Start point: Canal Street and Lafayette Street End point: Lafayette Street and Houston (by REI) My point-of-view strolls are to show the weather, environment, and density of people that happen to be in the area the day and time of the recording. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you subscribe for future strolls! 🙂Social🙂 instagram: @StrollingALot
