Here's the first part of a two part series of an ocean themed mixed media! I used an 11"x 14" birch wood panel that I first covered with modeling paste using a spatula to create a basic patterns that would hopefully inspire me later on. I love using anything that I can find to make my mixed medias. On this one for example I even used pistachio shells!
