This area is north of the Sonoita crossroads in the Patagonia and Santa Rita foothills located in southeastern Arizona. The area seems to have endless two tracks that always take you to interesting and beautiful places. Today's route took us climbing up steep ridge roads as well as deep and narrow canyon two tracks. It's mid-November so there was an abundance of color in the changing foliage.
Virtually the entire ride was in the national forest. High clearance was useful and, since it hasn't rained lately, four wheel drive wasn't necessary. It was a great group ride!
