Welcome friends, today we will paint a HUGE sky, beautiful, and bright sunset scene farm scene! Grab your paints and meet me on the canvas.
Thank you for joining me here for Tutorial #7. My name is Kaylee, and I am a wet on wet landscape oil painter. Today I am going to walk you though step by step how I painted this beautiful sunset scene. I had to throw some birds in it of course, because that is just the law. :) We will work on painting a big sunset sky like those you seen in the farming areas. Feel free to leave that out or use this technique to paint anything silhouette against a sunset scene. Please consider painting along with me, send me a photo if you do at [email protected].
I had a lot of struggles with this painting. I have never painted a windmill before, and the silhouette appearance was a bit challenging, only because I was not sure if it was going to work out. I also was not sure about the bark but in the end, I relied on my instinct and trusted the process. I am extremely happy with the way the painting turned out in the end. Before we get in to the painting, I wanted to thank one of my subscribers, Brian, again for your support with my channel, you are fantastic.
