Fixing OPDA on this 2005-2006 TJ Wrangler.
On Facebook there is a lot of group’s specific for TJ Owners, I would join one and hold on for the ride.
the Oil Pump Drive Assembly started making a chirping noise almost like a turkey caller literally. It was the OPDA making the oddball sound.
Here is my experience on replacing the unit. I got a crown unit to swap it out. You can get a oem but I don’t think they sell them anymore, plus crown upgraded the components so it’s less likely to fail. I don’t know if this is the original or not but it went out at 230,000 miles lol. Talk about built tough.
