Pradosham is a special period of time that occurs twice a month during the Hindu calendar. It is believed to be a very auspicious time for Lord Shiva, one of the major deities in Hinduism. Pradosham occurs during the 13th day of both the waxing and waning lunar fortnights, which is also known as Trayodashi Tithi. The period of time during pradosham is believed to be the most appropriate time for performing puja (worship) of Lord Shiva, particularly during the evening time, which is also known as Sandhya Kala. During Pradosham, devotees perform various rituals and offerings to Lord Shiva, including abhishekam (ritual bathing of the idol), archana (offering of flowers and incense), and chanting of Shiva mantras. It is believed that during this time, Lord Shiva's blessings are particularly powerful and that prayers offered during Pradosham are especially potent. Sri Ojeshwar Maharaj's Pradosha Puja starts at 18.15 hrs. Om Namah Shivaya
