1 cup (200g) sugar
Optional: the grated zest of 1 lemon
1 cup (120g) self-rising flour*
1 cup (250ml) whole milk
1/2 cup (1 stick or 113g) butter, melted
2 cups (about 200g) blueberries
For sprinkling: 1/4 cup (50g) sugar
Bake 350°F until browned and bubbly -- about 1 hour
*To make your own self-rising flour: Whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
