This mix brings me back to my hometown of Salinas, CA. In the 90's opening the door into the garage music blasting in my onesie as a kid, walking into the garage house party that my brother secretly hosted or just listening to the local radios “Freestyle Friday” and boppin' my head in the backyard to ribs BBQing on the grill knowing these songs only played on the weekends.
