At approximately 9:46 pm on April 23rd, 2025, a helicopter crashed near the "House of Beginners". There were three passengers and crew on board the helicopter, all of whom respawned in sleeping bags near the scene. On board were the captain AZKi (forever 18 years old), tour guide Usada Pekora (forever 111 years old), and passenger Murasaki Shion (age unknown).
The helicopter had just taken off from the "House of Beginners" heliport bound for a port on the west side of the island. Witnesses said the helicopter gained altitude, then suddenly lost altitude and crashed. There were reports of containers being seen falling with parachutes near the scene, and the accident investigation committee is currently investigating whether this is related to the accident.
The three were reportedly heading to a cargo ship arriving at port, and after the accident they purchased a new helicopter and set off again for their destination. When passenger Murasaki Shion returned home from the cargo ship, she put photos she had taken there into frames and hung them on the exterior wall of her house. As Murasaki Shion prepares to graduate on April 26, three days later, she went on a trip to make memories with her colleagues who she shared joys and hardships with over the past seven years.
