On board the Ice Valley BMW, in my first Senior TT back in 2014! In the race I set the fastest ever Newcomer Lap at 129.104mph (207.773kph) on the last lap!
The TT course is 37.73 miles (60 km) long and the race is over 6 laps, 226 miles (364 km).
This is the first lap of the race, I set off 21st which is the highest place a none seeded rider can start. Apart from the top 20 all other riders starting positions go on qualifying laps, of which I recorded a fastest lap time from the practices, qualifying and previous races of a 126mph (202kph) average lap.
I finished 11th in the race which I was over the moon with and of course I claimed the newcomers lap record too which still stands today!! I will be adding the full race at some point for you in the near future!
Massive thanks to everyone involved in giving me the chance to race at the TT for the first time that year. Who only knew what would happen just 4 years later ;)
