More heritage and railway nostalgia with this charming footage. Definitely one for the steam enthusiasts! Shot in the 1990's and dedicated to the narrator, BBC broadcaster and news-man Brian Redhead,1929- 1994. Remember him on the BBC Radio 'Today Programme', and his 'Friends of the M.6. Motorway'? This film is set among some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery in Wales so is appealing on that level too. This 'great little railway' has delighted visitors since the days of Queen Victoria and is now lovingly preserved by dedicated enthusiasts. Since 1982 the line has been cleared and the trains re-established. It is now probably one of the most popular narrow-gauge railways in Britain, carrying over 400,000 passengers a year and running a 13.5 mile main-line in miniature from coastline into the mountains. Enjoy the journey! Railway Heritage Film. Narrated by Brian Redhead. produced by Julian and Stephen Gammond Apologies for any copyright issues, this video is not uploaded for profit or personal gain
