Join me on truly amazing, not to mention challenging, backpack across England from one coast to the other following the Wainwright Coast to Coast Path. I backpacked this 'pure style' , carrying everything on my back in a 20 kg rucksack, covering over 200 miles in 13 days, and climbing the equivalent of Everest. I have completed quite a few backpack trips over the years, this one was in 2015 when I was a comparative spring chicken at 67 year old :)! The jet stream blew south just before I started so I had some awful weather, including heavy frost, freezing sleet, driving rain, mist/low cloud......and some sunshine :) It was a memorable and very meaningful trip for me, and I have created this 'video' from the many photographs that I took, combined with my journal that I wrote each day.
