Nearly two years after Madhya Pradesh government legalized liqour production using Mohua, women of Hanuman SHG are now successfully producing the liqour at state's first heritage liqour plant at Alirajpur'd Katthiwada block. The drink which was once sneered upon, is now a source of livelihood for women at the SHG. The handful of women running the SHG now ace every aspect of the production process from procuring packaging and learning to sell the product. The drink is also being tested to be sold in luxioures hotels like Taj, Marriott. ThePrint's Iram Siddique reports from ground.
