Lisieux Anand School organised a one-day educational tour to Khajuraho and Kutni Dam Island Resort for the students of Class 4-5 on 31January 2025.
• KUTNI DAM ISLAND RESORT: Visiting the tranquil reservoir renowned for its beauty, vastness, and picturesque surroundings. After exploring the unique and serene island, refreshment from the Kutni Island leisure resort of MP Tourism enjoying the breathtaking views.
• JAIN TEMPLES: Exploring the stunning three Eastern groups of Jain Temples in Khajuraho (Shantinatha, Adinath, and Parshvanatha Temples).
• SAHU SHANTIPRASAD JAIN KALA SANGRAHALAYA: A visit to the museum connects us to the past and brings history to life. Visiting the circular-structured hall museum that exhibits fine pieces of carvings and other artefacts of Jain history and religion.
• SHRAMDAAN: Exploring the traditional Indian village hut with an evolved interior that leads to a hand-woven fabric museum where the local artisans give a live demonstration of weaving.
• LUNCH AT MPT PAYAL (3-Star Hotel): Enjoying a lavish and sumptuous poolside buffet at classy Payal Resort of MP Tourism and fun activities in the kids open-air play zone of the resort.
• ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM: Exploring the region’s rich culture and fascinating history of the Chandela dynasty through sculptures, inscriptions, coins, weapons, pottery, and other archaeological finds from the 9th to the 13th century AD.
• AADIVART - STATE MUSEUM OF TRIBAL AND FOLK ART: Spending a good time at Aadivart Museum, which exhibits a lovely collection of art and artefacts from the tribes of M. P.: beautiful tribal huts with paintings, galleries depicting tribal arts, jewellery, terracotta and metal crafts, and bamboo artworks.
