Single CSX Locomotive Pulling A Mile Long Train & A Single Norfolk Southern Locomotive Pulling An Intermodal Train. Repainted & Refurbished Union Pacific Locomotive A Long Way From Home Leading 3 Other CSX Locomotives On A Huge Train With DPU. 4 Locomotives Counting The DPU. These Trains And More At The CSX And Norfolk Southern Interchange In Hamilton, Ohio, USA. We also see the area that is going to be completely redeveloped next to the CSX and NS tracks. At least one of these railroad crossings will be abandoned. I am documenting the progress. That first train was well over a mile long and only had one locomotive. That is very impressive! I thought for sure it would have a DPU. We also have a big NS train with only a single locomotive. My favorite train in this video is the second one. It is led by a recently repainted/refurbished Union Pacific locomotive. This train has 3 other CSX locomotives including one that is a DPU. Look at all the mixed freight on the train and a blue gondola that appears new and also a new steel coils car. Also notice that the last train did not stick with directional running. Instead of going south down the NS New Castle Sub the train went south down the CSX Cincinnati Sub. Most of the trains on CSX are northbound and most trains on the NS are southbound.
