Today I’m taking the West Coast Motors bus service 918 to Oban from Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. It’s a relatively short journey with a time of 1hr and 20 mins. Definitely one of the most epic bus joruneys in Scotland!
The journey is beautifully scenic, passing stunning sea Lochs such as Loch Linnhe and Loch Creran, bridges such as Creagan and Ballachullish, and you even get a fantastic view of the Pap of Glencoe as you pass through Ballachulish village. It’s a fantastic way to take in the West Coast scenery.
How much did it cost?
I paid £12:60 for a one way journey, which compared to other coach journeys across the UK, and considering the distance travelled could be seen as on the expensive side. I think its worth it for the scenery though😍
