Oneness in Creation - Part 9
“Work Like a Mensch!”
With Rabbi Ari Sollish
Recorded live at The Torah Center ATL on Sunday, August 25, 2024
One of the hardest things to get right is our work/life balance. How much time and energy should we allocate to our work? How much should we allocate to our other pursuits?
These questions are amplified when we think in terms of our spiritual beliefs. If G-d is in control of all that happens, does that render our work superfluous? If our faith dictates that G-d will take care of us no matter what, what is our role in "making a living"? And if we do work, and work hard, does that call our faith into question?
These are big questions. And they're all addressed by the Jewish mystics.
In this session of Kabbalah Café we take a magnificent look at the interplay between faith and work, and effort and emunah. What we walk away with will inspire both our physical and spiritual efforts.
The Torah Center ATL takes pride in offering innovative, inclusive, and impactful educational programs to all. People from a diverse spectrum of life find the Torah Center to be a warm and non-judgmental community in which to experience the richness and authenticity of Jewish learning and heritage.
