Konnichi-hiya! How ya doing? So, Ghostwire Tokyo was on PlayStation Plus this month and I hadn’t played it before, but after feeling a little burned by Dragon Age (I feel like it didn’t really end up going anywhere, y’know? And, like, only really one choice made a big difference… but maybe that’s just me) I thought I’d give it a go. I had very low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised and ended up getting platinum, so I must have enjoyed it! I also promised myself not to make an ASMR roleplay inspired by it, but here we are…
It's an Oni ASMR roleplay! Well, more accurately, a slightly weird Reiki ASMR roleplay where an impish Oni cleanses your spirit in exchange for his magatama. The roleplay actually came out a lot more relaxing than I’d anticipated, and there’s some decent energy pulling and energy plucking in there for you to enjoy! There’s also some very rudimentary and poorly spoken Japanese at the start to set the scene, with some hard-coded subs. Regardless, expect some tingle inducing vocal effects, relaxing finger flutters, and lots of gentle hand movements. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
