The scammers, dressed in police uniforms and speaking English, suddenly switched to Tamil, revealing their true intentions.
🚨 What Happened:
The scammer claimed our ID was misused in Mumbai and urged us to file a complaint.
They connected us to a fake Mumbai Cyber Crime official who attempted to gather our personal information.
We realized it was a scam when they spoke Tamil, our mother tongue, and began threatening us.
We immediately ended the call and verified with the official telecom department, who confirmed it was a scam.
