We chose some ‘challenging’ words and sentences written in cursive, and showed these to foreigners: students of Russian as a foreign language.
Would it be possible for them to decode the Russian handwriting?
Or does it remain a ‘secret’ language... even if you learned Russian as a foreigner language?
