Ruby is watching her mom making handmade noodles in the kitchen. Then Choco’s heart starts to glow. Her friends are looking for her in Rainbow Village! Ruby hugs Choco and hurries to her room. Ruby and Choco get the suitcase and when Ruby swings her umbrella, they arrive in front of Rainbow fountain. Ling Ling tells Rainbow Ruby that today is Noodle Festival day in the village but there is a problem. The problem is that the noodle tree, which grows noodles, decided to take a year off and is not growing any noodles this year. The village friends have no idea that they can actually make noodles by themselves. Rainbow Ruby turns into a chef using her magic suitcase to make noodles. Rainbow Ruby succeeds in making noodles like her mom but the Rainbow Village noodles need to be very long and have rainbow colors. After several attempts, Rainbow Ruby succeeds in making the noodles very long and dyes them with Rainbow Fruit. The village friends sing the “Thank You Ruby” song for Rainbow Ruby who made the Noodle Festival possible. When Ruby comes back to the real world, she has delicious noodles with her mom and dad.
Rainbow Ruby is the story of a spunky, resourceful little girl who magically transports to Rainbow Village, a whimsical land inhabited by her toys, where she transforms into different jobs to help save the day.
From forest ranger, to shoe designer, to photographer, using her magic roller Ruby can master any skill and help her friends down in Rainbow village, with her teddybear, Choco, always at her side!
