You can use your cheap logic analyzer clone or genuine tool with open-source software! Someone in the comments mentioned that Sigrok could be an alternative to other proprietary logic analyzer software. Sigrok (Pulseview) is super cool and worked pretty well as you will see. On Windows, there is a small pitfall to the installation. It also works on Linux. I hope this video is informative!
