And YES, there were A's stars before Rickey (Catfish, Reggie, Fingers, etc). I was saying that from when I started following baseball around 1981/1982, there were no A's superstars. There was Armas, Langford, etc, but nobody of all-star caliber in the early 80s until Rickey.
