In 2019, there was a disturbing story that emerged inside of Berlin about the attempted grave-robbing of Reinhard Heydrich, a man who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people during World War 2. Heydrich was known for the 'Butcher of Prague,' and he was a terrifying man, but following his assassination in 1942 he was buried inside of the Invalidenfriedhof. But then recently someone tried to exhume his remains, or even try to rob items from his coffin. This could have even included his SS Ceremonial Sword, which would today be worth millions of dollars.
