What’s up guys, my name is Spartan. In today’s long requested video, I bring you a comprehensive guide on the orb Devo farming strategy for The Tower. Orb Devo is a strategy designed to maximize coin income by hoarding enemies around your tower and only killing them when your ultimate weapons go off to stack all the coin multipliers. Base Requirements for Orb Devo: - Golden Tower (GT) and Black Hole (BH) must be synced. This can be achieved by natural sync, which is manually upgrading the cooldowns with stones until they match up. You can also use the Multiverse Nexus (MVN) module which syncs the cooldowns of BH, GT and Deathwave (DW). - Extra Orbs Card + Extra Orbs Adjuster Lab. This strategy uses both Thorn damage and Orbs as the primary source of killing enemies. Use the Extra Orbs card instead of the Workshop Orbs so that you can manually set the range of the Orbs based on what tower range you are running. - Devoed Workshop. Devolving your workshop sets all of your workshop stats back to zero. This is a critical step especially if you used the blender strategy prior to Devo. To devolve your workshop, you need the unlock the “Respec Workshop lab”. This will allow you to respec or devolve your workshop using 150 gems. - Around 50B LTC (lifetime earned coins). This is simply so that you have enough coins to set up your workshop efficiently for Orb Devo. Some good things to have as well: - Extra Black Hole lab - Black Hole Damage lab maxed (to kill protectors in 2 BH cycles) - Black Hole Coin Bonus lab - Black Hole Size of 38m or higher is ideal - Deathwave (DW) and Spotlight (SL) for added coin multipliers. Plus Deathwave gives you cells bonus and more health during your runs. - Garlic Thorns so you can kill vampires easily. - Card Presets so you can seamlessly swap from Orb Devo preset to Blender later in the run. - Buy Multipliers lab maxed so you can more efficiently upgrade your workshop during the run. Here are all of the workshop stats you should KEEP AT LEVEL 0: Attack WS: Attack Speed, Range, Multishot Chance, Bounce Shot Chance, Rapid Fire Chance and Super Crit Chance. Defense WS: Thorns Damage, Orbs, Knockback Chance, Landmine Chance and Shockwave Size. Utility WS: ALL your Free Ups (free attack upgrades, free defense upgrades and free utility upgrades). For your cards, you’re going to want the following: Econ Cards: Enemy Balance, Coins, Critical Coin, Cash. Defensive Cards: Health, Defense %, Health Regen QoL Cards: Wave Skips, Wave Accelerator, Recovery Package Chance, Land Mine Stun, Intro Sprint For Modules, try to avoid anything that does significant damage. Also make sure you do not take Death Penalty in particular. Some good modules are: Galaxy Compressor (Gcomp) and Multiverse Nexus (MVN). My Strategy: Waves 0-1500: Upon the start of the run, I set my range at 40m and my shockwave size at 1.10. I then set my Thorns at 5%. Immediately following this, I spam upgrades into Enemy Attack Level Skips (EALS). I do this until too many basic small enemies hoard my tower then I raise my thorns in increments of 5. So 10, 15, 20, etc. I stop upgrading thorns at 34% because going any higher will kill enemies too quickly. The main thing at this stage if you want as many enemy attack level skips as humanly possible. Waves 1500-3000: during mid run, I still focus heavily on enemy attack level skips, but will also upgrade my defensive options as my package health starts to drop. This involves upgrading health, recovery, package amount, and max recovery. Waves 3000+: once I get this point in the run, I will start to consider switching to blender to get as many cells as I can and prolong the run. This involves upgrading all of your free upgrades in the utility workshop and starting to try to max everything you can. This concludes today’s video. I really hope that you guys found this helpful and feel free to let me know in the comments if you have any questions or need some clarification on anything. Here is a guide to JPlays Orb Devo guide if you are at the point of having Wall.
