Using fertilizers can prove to be a bit tricky at the beginning, with people each having their own prefference. You must follow 3 golden rules of good practice:
1. Never use anything other thsn orchid fertilizer until you know what you're doing
2. Never use more than what the labrl suggests, you can use less
3. Never experiment with fertilizer on root stressed orchids!
New leaves on orchids are usually lighter in color. They deepen as they mature though.
Tolumnia orchids have pretty sensitive roots and usually if they are brown, it's not a good sign.
