I am so excited to be finally sharing this origami cake technique with you guys! During the holidays I spent quite a lot of time experimenting with this technique, and finally found a method that gave me the results I wanted. The video is a little on the longer side, but I really wanted to include as many tips as I could so that you don't need to go through a number of trials like I did to get it right :)
My cake was inspired by the origami cake queen @meruyert_nursila (Instagram page here: https://www.instagram.com/meruyert_nursila/), and thank you to @didalicious_cakes for sending me the inspo! You can check out her awesome cakes here too: https://www.instagram.com/didalicious_cakes/
Ingredients (4:1 ratio of white chocolate to heavy cream):
- 500g white chocolate
- 125g heavy cream
I used the above quantities for my 6 inch cake in this video :)
